Based on scientific studies the Tiger is a much stronger animal. It's built closer to a Jaguar where as a lions built closer to a cheetah.
A Tigers Limbs are much more massive then a Lions Limbs. Creating more power, an impact in it's blows.
This also allows the tiger to pull far greater weights then a lion, it's strength is unmatched in the feline world.
